1. Payment

Several methods of payment are possible. PayPal payments (which allow Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover), payments can be made through bank transfer from account to account or through cash on delivery (COD), if available. Also I accept checks (drawn on a German bank and in Euros) and money orders (in Euros). Upon receipt (and clearing, if necessary) of the check or money order your order will be processed.

Sales are not considered to be placed and are not final until I have personally approved them. If a sale is rejected payment will be refunded in full.

2. Purchasing the software of the O.S. Extension Pack

The O.S. Extension Pack is a downgraded version of the Multi Lingual Pack and contains only the English parts of it.
It is for those who do not want or need the other languages available. The O.S. Extension Pack can not be upgraded to a full Multi Lingual Pack.

The O.S. Extension Pack requires ROM 2.15 or higher and consists of

- English messages (must be installed for taking over the operating system)

- Fast and improved CAS help system

- TreeBrowser / Formula Browser

- TreeBrowserBuilder / Formula Builder

- GUISLV / GUIMES

- EQNLIB

- Economic equations

Requirements:

A SD card (max. 2 GB) is needed for the installation and the internal serial number of the calculator must be provided while ordering the software.

Obtaining the internal serial number of the calculator:

Ensure that your HP 49G+ / HP 50G is operating in RPN mode.

To set the operating mode to RPN, press the [MODE] key and then the [CHOOS] menu key or the [+/-] key until RPN is set. Now leave the input form with [ENTER] or [OK].

Activate the ALPHA function of the keyboard by pressing the [ALPHA] key. (Depending on system flag -60 the key [ALPHA] must be pressed once or twice to key in characters continuously.)

Key in the following sequence while the ALPHA function of the keyboard is active: [2] [5] [6] [SPC] [A] [T] [T] [A] [C] [H] and then press the [ENTER] key on the keyboard. Then key in the following sequence while the ALPHA function of the keyboard is active: [S] [E] [R] [I] [A] [L] and then press the [ENTER] key on the keyboard.

Press the silver down arrow once and afterwards move the cursor to the very right using the silver right arrow. The silver arrows are located below the first row of the keys on the upper right side of the keyboard and are grouped together.

Your internal serial number (here CNA1234567 in this example) must be provided while ordering the software. The software you buy will only run on the machine you provided the internal serial number for, so ensure that the number you provide is correct.

After confirmation of the payment all necessary files will be mailed to you. Copy all files to a SD card while preserving the structure of the files and directories and then run the installation program.

Installing the software of the OSE:

Only use fresh batteries for the installation !

In RPN mode key in the following sequence then press [ENTER] and [EVAL] to start the installation.

In algebraic mode key in the following sequence then press [EVAL] to start the installation.

The installation program will guide you through the installation process.

Please use the software according to the documentation on the SD-card.

Note: It has been observed that under rare circumstances the SD card is not detected by the calculator and the installation program does not run. In this case simply restart the installation.

Use the OSE program to update / modify / delete the Multi Lingual Pack.

The software will be delivered through email.

This is commercial software and is only licensed for use by a single user, tied to the calculator's internal serial number, but if you have to replace your calculator, a means is provided for transferring the license to the new calculator.

Note: You will need the SD card for updating the software.

By ordering the software you assure, that you have confirmed your internal serial number and you assure that the internal serial number you provide is correct.

By ordering the software you agree, that the software will be compiled to the internal serial number that will be transmitted together with your order. You also agree, that it is your responsibility to provide the correct internal serial number and you are aware of the fact, that the software will only work if you provide the correct internal serial number as described above.

Electrical Engineering contains over 500 Equations (including variable descriptions, units and pictures) covering the undergraduate curriculum for electrical engineers in most universities.
